About Us

Grupo Tatoma’s origins date back to the 19th century, when the activity was carried out within a family business, consisting initially of a forging workshop.

In the 20th century, the family focused on the production of industrial use machinery, becoming an important reference in the sector. After a series of structural changes, Talleres Torres Martí, better known as TATOMA, was officially created in 1971.

In the 70s, the company obtained its first patents and began to manufacture the first agricultural equipment, being the precursors of the later agricultural livestock machinery. In this decade the activity focuses on the industrial sector, manufacturing all kinds of machinery and structures for large industries, in collaboration with the main Spanish engineering companies, being TATOMA a recognized brand, at the end of the decade, at a national level.

In 1983 the first mixer was sold, which was patented a year later. At the end of the 80s, INMOSA was created, as manufacturer of agricultural machinery, differentiated from other activities of the company. In 1990 TATOMA begins its export process, initially to France and then, the rest of Europe.

TATOMA expands facilities and creates new companies for different types of activities such as industrial maintenance and the manufacture of specialized containers, creating GRUPO TATOMA in the year 2000. By then, the group exports its orders to any part of the world, positioning itself as a company with a clear international vocation.

Since the constitution of TATOMA GROUP, new facilities have been developed, a commercial office in Mexico and a distribution center in the USA have been opened. Currently the group has 180 workers and four different manufacturing centers. The company continues to grow, and the TATOMA brand is a world reference in the sectors in which it operates.

This continuous innovation, together with the constant expansion in the international market, constitute its main bets for the future to continue with a trajectory of sustained growth that has been perpetuated over time, and which has made customer service its hallmark.
